At Summit, we create an interactive, fun and safe environment where children learn about

Jesus and apply the gospel in a way that is culturally relevant to their lives and development.
We partner to help your kids: see God for who He is, see themselves the way God does, and
love others the way God does. We use the Orange curriculum to teach and equip our kids on
Sunday and to apply at home throughout the week. We want to partner with parents outside
of Sundays to help Summit Kids develop vibrant faith! Summit Kids' Facebook page is filled
with conversation starters, activities, and articles that all reinforce  what we're doing on Sundays.

First-Time Guests
If you are new to Summit, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the service so we can introduce you to both the children's director and prospective classroom teachers who will teach your children.

Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us. Please see our security policy for information on how we keep all of our kids safe. You can also check out our sick policy for information on how we keep all of our kids healthy.

Security Policy
One of our primary goals for Children's Ministry is to provide a safe and secure place for children to learn about Jesus and have fun. We do that through several measures, all of which are meant to keep our ministry secure and provide peace of mind for parents.

We employ a nametag system. Each child is given a nametag that is placed upon the child's back. As the parent, you are given a corresponding tag with your child(ren)'s. When you come to pick up your child(ren), you must show the parent tag to the teacher and they will match it with the nametag before releasing your child.

Safety within the classroom includes a policy that no volunteer will be alone with a child or group of children under any circumstance. There will always be at least two volunteers with a child or classroom at all times-No Exceptions.

Finally, all of our volunteers and teachers have gone through an application process, an interview, received basic children's ministry training, and have had a national background check to provide added security.
